CARBON FIBER CONSTRUCTION
The Mast is forged in a single piece from pure high density 3k carbon fibre and is available in two sizes - 90 cm and a 70 cm. The motors small dimension minimizes resistance and takes advantage of kinetic energy when decreasing the power. The developed brushless motor and gear head produce thrust to fly at up to 35km/h.

When in use, the MSLED navigation lights are illuminated and the surfboard is elevated above the waterline, the circumferential edge is also correspondingly elevated above the waterline and the illuminated navigation lights mounted there-along radiate from the circumferential edge and consequently the elevated surfboard for ease of viewing by an observer, from afar, of the elevated surfboard for determining, from afar, the direction of travel, speed of the surfboard and whether the surfboard is turning in order to avoid collision.
MSLED - THE APPLIED SCIENCE
The circumferential edge, the navigation lights, and the rider are elevated above the waterline while translating forwardly through the body of water, and providing control input to a light controller to illuminate the navigation lights and thereby illuminating the circumferential edge and consequently the circumference of the elevated surfboard.
It is extremely important for the MSLR Team to manufacture and design components sourced and built here in Canada. We understand that manufacturing locally may cost more up front, however the gains in quality for the customer are unmatched. We have currently formed several local partnerships for manufacturing and have built some of our products locally. We have also formed a partnership with the Faculty of Applied Science | School of Engineering at University of British Columbia.
HIGH GRADE MARINE CELL BOX
Inside the MSLR E-Foil is a certified waterproof battery box which also contains the electronics. The battery is encapsulated inside the complete waterproof carbon fiber box with a rubber gasket seal keeping it completely waterproof. The ECS (electric control system) in the board is designed in modular for quick replacement. The hatch door and door locker are designed with a simple and reliable structure.
